This non-surgical procedure is for the face, neck and décolletage. It stimulates the body’s own natural healing process to lift and tighten the skin over time. The use of FDA-cleared micro-focused ultrasound technology enables us to see and then treat the deepest support layers of the skin. This approach allows for the same results typically addressed in cosmetic surgery without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.
With just one Ultherapy treatment at Rejuvenate Rx the lifting process is initiated. The effect however, will build gradually over the course of two to three months as new, stronger collagen is created. Further improvements can even appear up to twelve months following a single Ultherapy procedure as the collagen-building process continues. Stop by our office in Wandermere West or call us at (509)290-6149 to learn more about Ulthera in Spokane.
Since we, “the new kids in town” opened in June of 2012 we have been growing and garnering recognition as the “place to go” for corrective skincare, injectables and esthetic services in Spokane and the surrounding areas.
We’ve added some services including eyelash extensions and spider vein treatments. Plus, you’ve been telling your friends about Dr. Gwyn’s skills at BotoxTM, JuvedermTM; and removing age spots and other sun damage with her special treatments.
Now we are entering into another phase of our evolution: A new location! We couldn’t be more excited about joining the premiere businesses at the Wandemere Village West (picture Starbucks, Mel’s, Sweet Frostings…) We expect to transition to the new space in mid-May. We will be expanding our available days, hours and staff once we are in our new home.
We are grateful for your friendship and support–and definitely enjoying this ride. Come join in the fun!
Full, lush eyelashes can be yours in one appointment at Rejuvenate Rx. Eyelash extensions are individual lashes attached to your own lashes using a special bonding agent. Once affixed, your extensions will grow along with your natural lash growth cycle. We put together some tips to make your lash extensions a success.
When setting your appointment: Expect to spend a little over 2 hours for a full set of lashes. Fill appointments are typically 1 hour in length.
Before your appointment: Remove your makeup if possible. If not, we will remove your makeup for you at the time of your appointment. The lash adhesive works better on lashes that are completely free of any residues or oils.
After your appointment:
1) After each application, whether a full set or a “fill,” avoid getting your lashes wet for 48 hours.
2) Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools and hot tubs for 48 hours.
3) Avoid “drenching” work outs for 48 hours.
4) Use eye make-up and removers that are oil-free
5) Avoid waterproof make-up, especially waterproof mascara.
6) Wearing less make-up is better for your lash extensions.
7) Resist urges to pull or tug on your lashes. If your lashes are crisscrossing, use a lash wand to brush them straight from root to tip. We will provide you with a wand at your appointment.
8) Keep your extensions beautiful and well-maintained by keeping your lash-fill appointments every 2-3 weeks.
Enjoy your beautiful lashes! Give us a call at (509)290-6149 if you would like more information.
Wrinkles and age spots aren’t the only problems as we age. There is another large part of the aging equation: Volume loss. Volume loss in the cheeks causes our faces to flatten which causes the skin on our faces to migrate lower and look saggy.
Enter VolumaTM from Allergan. VolumaTM is the first and only FDA approved filler to add volume to the cheek area, mainly on the cheek bone. VolumaTM gives you back lifted, youthful, cute cheeks for up to 2 years. There is very little, if any recovery time and your results are instant.
We are happy to share with you more information over the phone or in complimentary office consultation. Give us a call at (509)290-6149.
You have become our friends and cheerleaders. We are so grateful for your respect and confidence in referring us to your friends and family… these are true gifts.
We are especially excited we’ll get a chance to hang out with you at our open house on Thursday, December 12th from 4-6 pm. AKA, “the gratitude party”. We want to treat you to special deals just for you, swag bags, chair massages, cool demos and groovy prize. There will be some yummy snacks and champagne (which is always a plus.)
Let’s celebrate a year’s hard work and joy moments, and toast a new year of fabulous, healthy skin.
Can’t wait to see you there!

We are very excited to offer sclerotherapy services at Rejuvenate Rx. Sclerotherapy is an injection therapy that works to eliminate unsightly spider veins on your legs or just about anywhere else.
Spider veins or telangiectasias are small thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin; although they are considered mainly a “cosmetic” problem, they can cause sensations of burning or itching at times.
Sclerotherapy is the method for eliminating superficial spider veins by the injection of a “sclerosing” agent directly into the affected blood vessels using a very fine needle. The result is closure and the eventual disappearance of the spider veins.
Most of the time you will require several sessions to achieve your desirable result; although certain blood vessels will be successfully treated on the first session, there are usually many vessels that need treatment over a few visits. The number of treatments you need depends on how many areas need treatment and how many blood vessels there are.
To help achieve the best results we will meet with you at least 1 week prior to your first procedure to review medical history, discuss the procedure and review aftercare protocols.
We look forward to seeing you. Give us a call at (509) 290-6149 if you want to know more about what we can do for you at Rejuvenate Rx!
Acne breakouts are caused by blocked pores (follicles.) We don’t know all the reasons that the follicles become obstructed, but when they do oil that is produced in oil glands cannot exit the pores to moisturize the skin effectively. Instead, the sebum (oil) along with skin cells along the pore becomes trapped. The combination forms a sticky plug which effectively traps bacteria in the pore where they multiply and cause inflammation.
One of the most effective treatments for acne, used alone or in combination with other therapies is chemical peels.
At Rejuvenate Rx, we specialize in both chemical peels and other acne treatments. If you have been frustrated by acne we would love to help you. Call (509) 290-6149 to learn more. –Dr. Gwyn
They may have fallen off the radar screens among those sexy sounding laser procedures for skin anti-aging techniques; but the simple truth behind the power of chemical peels is “They work.”
Chemical Peels have been clinically shown to build collagen and elastin in the dermis of the skin. The dermis is the layer of skin that “plumps from within.” Chemical Peels also cause rapid exfoliation of millions of layers of dead skin cells and speed cellular turnover—hence the radiance and glowing complexion. Over time, chemical peels are your best ally against hyperpigmentation and blotchiness, especially when specifically formulated with anti-pigmentation ingredients. Acne is another condition that benefits greatly from clinical chemical peels.
An even nicer truth about certain chemical peels such as SkinCeuticals MicroPeels TM is that they leave your skin smooth, hydrated and glowing. There is no down time. There is no redness or flaking.
Last, but not least: The cost of a series of MicroPeels is much less than a single laser treatment and certainly less than a series of laser treatments.

We are always eager to increase the turnover and sloughing of dull skin cells that are sitting on our skin’s surface. There are right ways and wrong ways to attempt to do this.
Mechanical exfoliants such as scrubs and exfoliating “gadgets” can provide exfoliation, however if the superficial skin cells are too adherent to the surface, you will end up disrupting the skin’s barrier, leading to moisture loss and further exacerbation of your rough or dry skin condition. Worse, if you use scrubs made of shells, seeds or other “non-smooth” substances you add scratches and abrasions to the mix of already unhappy skin.
Your best bet is to seek consultation with a skin care specialist who can evaluate your skin type and condition to develop a program of clinical and home-based skin care solutions. Give us a call if you would like to know more.
